ElectraCard Services (ECS) receives PCI PA DSS certification Pune, India – August 25th, 2010: Electra Card Services (ECS), a leading electronic payments solution provider today announced that it has received Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) certification from the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council for its leading solution- electraSWITCH™. electraSWITCH is a new generation EMV compliant EFT authorization and routing switching solution that seamlessly bridges real world and virtual payment channels. It provides financial institutions with an open platform based high availability solution to deliver services through ATMs, Kiosks, Bunch Note Acceptors, Cash Deposit Machines, POS, Internet, Telephone, and Mobiles.
PA-DSS is a comprehensive data security standard intended to help organizations proactively protect customer data through requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. PA-DSS provides a framework to develop secure payment applications that ensure compliance with the PCI DSS.
